Here is the recent update from the Bardon, our missionaries to Utah.
Dear Prayer Partners, July 31, 2008
CHURCH PLANTING and EVANGELISM: Continue praying for the contacts we have in Santaquin. We hope to start a Bible study there in September. We listed our house for sale here this week and the first couple that looked at it gave us an offer that has been accepted. Pray that everything works ok to close by the end of August. We also made an offer on a house in Mt. Pleasant, Utah that was accepted and hope to close on it around the 1st of September. Pray the Lord will daily make His will plain to us and that we’d have the strength and wisdom to make this transition. It will probably take us several weeks to move and get situated there. The basement of the new house also needs to be finished. If anyone wants to come and help us do that the first or second week of September, let us know.
FAMILY: Neva’s is up and has been feeling better for about three weeks! Becky’s wedding is tomorrow. Pray that it would go well and that the Gospel will be made plain for many unsaved folks that may come from the community here. Pray for Patrick and Becky as they start there new life together and move down to Grand Junction, CO. Their new address is Patrick & Becky Weolongo Booto, PO Box 1133 Clifton, CO 81520. Pray for Neva and me as we leave Sunday to go to a BMM meeting in Ankeny, Iowa. We’ll be gone for about eight days.
CAMP: Praise the Lord for the many campers that came this year and for the way the Lord worked. Several were saved and others made important spiritual decisions. We thank the Lord for our new Camp Director, Jarrod Murdock and the leadership he has shown. Praise the Lord for some extra gifts we received that helped us cover some of the higher bills and other unexpected needs. Pray for the possibility of getting an electric line from Ephraim City up to Camp. It will be a major project, but much needed.
