Sunday morning at 11 a.m. on December 24 will be our Christmas program. We would love to have you there as we celebrate the birth of our Savior together. The celebration will continue with our Candlelight Communion service at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve. We will stay on a strict schedule and be finished by 7 p.m. Don’t miss either one of these services!
Nominating Committe
The nominating committee will consist of Pastor Shanks, Dr. De Jong, Ed Reis, and Fidel Lopez. Please submit nominations for deacon, trustee, financial secretary, treasurer, church secretary church clerk, ushers, missions committee, nursery committee, and social committee to one of these men.
Flooring Update
The church voted to have Antique Oak vinyl flooring installed in the reception hall, lobby, and auditorium. Carpet will be put in the sound room, library, and annex. What a change that will be to get the forty-year old tile out of there!
The Antique Oak is so popular that we will have to wait until after the first of the year to have it installed.
Family Business Meeting
Don’t forget that this Sunday is a family business meeting at 7 p.m.
We need to discuss the auditorium flooring, 2007 offices, the copier situation, and Wednesday night prayer meetings.
Reception for the Shanks
This Friday evening is a welcome reception for Pastor Shanks and his family. Some of the pastors from the Central Coast will be here along with Micah Mason from Santa Maria. Micah is an accomplished pianist and will be ministering a mini-concert during the service. There will be refreshments and a time of fellowship afterwards. Don’t miss it–7 p.m. on Friday November 3.
Thank You
Thanks goes to all those who worked so hard to make last night’s fellowship a time of blessing. We enjoyed meat cooked on the grill and lots of side dishes brought in by everyone. The “kids” enjoyed the scavenger hunt with a tie between (more…)
Harvest Fellowship
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for October 28. We will be having our Harvest Fellowship. Be sure to bring along some meat to BBQ and a side dish or two. There will be games for the kids, a camp fire, and a cake competition. The activities begin at 4 p.m. and visitors are welcome. See you there!
Family Business Meeting
We had a great family meeting on Sunday evening. Thank you very much for all of your participation, input, and thoughts. I also thank you for the good spirit and attitude of getting along–it is wonderful to see God’s people work together in unity.

Hate Crime
We praise the Lord for the efficiency of our insurance company in helping us to get this thing taken care of. We also thank Him for all of you who have shown both prayer and financial support of us. It is wonderful knowing that we are not having to stand alone.
