LaVerne Hill went home to be with the Lord on Friday October 26. There will be a graveside memorial service on November 1 at 11 a.m. Los Osos Valley Memorial Park is the location of the service.
CHRISTMAS REHEARSALS
Here are the dates for the Christmas Program rehearsals:
Nov. 4, Dec. 2 & 9 = 1-2 p.m.
Dec. 22 = 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
NOMINATING COMMITTEE
Chuck Holz was elected by the congregation to serve as the member-at-large on the Nominating Committee.
CONGREGATIONAL MEETING
The congregation approved repairs to the plumbing in the parsonage and agreed that the constitution needs to be revised. The constitutional committee is composed of the active male members of the congregation. Our first meeting will be on Thursday October 18 at 6:30 p.m.
CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
Yes, it is that time of year again!
We would like to meet briefly with ALL who might be interested in participating in any way in the Christmas program. This is from props and costumes, to music and speech parts. The meeting will be immediately following the morning worship service on October 14.
CONGREGATIONAL MEETING
There will be a meeting on October 14 at 7 p.m. to consider the question of a revision of the constitution and possible establishment of a Constitutional Committee.
COLLEGE STUDENTS
We welcome our college students back for the fall. On Sunday October 14 you are invited to have dinner with the Shanks after the morning Worship Service.
BABY SHOWER
There will be a Baby Shower on Saturday October 6 for Julie Shanks. It will be at 2 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Give Kathi Reis a call for details.
